A whole lotta sandwiches, a brand platform and a key visual that went global.

 

I was the lead art director on Subway Canada for a good 18 months or so, producing an amount of work comparable to the size of those novelty catering subs that are like a metre long.

Showcased here are a range of campaign TVCs across a variety of new product and brand messages, accompanied by food videography and photography across OOH, digital, social and in-store print and menu creative.

The “subdays” key visual was so well received by the global marketing team, that when I moved back to Sydney and was freelancing at JWT, as fate would have it they fired local Subway briefs in my direction to adapt and recreate the same visual I came up with. That was a weird time in my life.
